4pm Saratoga Ave Street Demonstation for Moral Public Policy
Join us for Moral Mondays, a local witness rooted in the national moral fusion movement founded by Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II and Repairers of the Breach. Moral Monday calls people of every faith, and none, to stand publicly for the poor, the marginalized, the immigrant, and moral public policy — the same call carried to Washington, D.C. by leaders like Rev. Jimmie Hawkins of the Director of the PC(USA Office of Public Witness, who has stood with Barber since 2013 on through the present at recent White House and Capitol Moral Monday rallies.
Westhope brings that witness home: whether you come from a faith tradition, a secular ethical commitment, or simply a shared belief that our neighbors deserve better, we invite you to gather with us on-site for a peaceful street demonstration on the second Monday of the month for prayer, presence, and public moral voice — our small congregation joining a national chorus, alongside all who share this cause.
