Grateful Gatherings

  • Westhope Presbyterian Church 12850 Saratoga Avenue Saratoga, CA, 95070 United States (map)

Join others to explore the transformative possibilities of grateful living, and discover greater meaning, purpose, and joy in your life. Grateful Gatherings take place every month both online and in homes and communities around the globe.

August 23rd Theme:

Our theme is "Age Gratefully." We'll reflect on how we can summon the courage to be truly ourselves.

You are invited to eschew the anti-aging messages that abound and to consider the opportunities that come with every additional day and year that you get to be alive. It's an invitation to gather your memories, perhaps let some things go, and name the ways you want to age — starting right now, today, when you are both the oldest you have ever been and the youngest you will ever be again.

About Grateful Gatherings

Informed by spiritual wisdom, scholarship, and scientific research, the Gatherings provide community connection, invigorating reflection and conversation, and practical tools for living a meaningful and flourishing life.

Westhope’s Gatherings are hosted by Terry Walsh, a trained facilitator, utilize robust materials provided by our organization, and are open to anyone seeking inspiration, resources, and fellowship for living life with purpose and joy.

Terry Walsh is a deacon and has been a member of Westhope for ten years. She has been trained in hosting Grateful Gatherings and is excited to create space for meaningful conversation and a vibrant community connection.
