Family caregiving can be one of life’s most meaningful—and most challenging—roles. While many of us will become caregivers at some point, few feel fully prepared when the responsibility arrives.

This one-time workshop will offer practical guidance and support from a physician, social worker, registered nurse, and pastor. Fellow caregivers will share their experiences, and participants will receive self-care suggestions, helpful resources, and opportunities to connect with others who understand the caregiving journey.

Presenters include Dr. Gary Lee, geriatric, hospice, and palliative care physician; Danette Flippin, geriatric social worker; Donna Bell, registered nurse and parish nurse; and Rev. Erik Swanson, senior pastor at Westhope Presbyterian Church.
